not sure how I found out that it's called alcantara, but here is a link to where you can buy the stuff in the event of needing to re-upholster worn out seat bolsters....

Modacar refers to the fabric as "AIR" fabric, and Recaro's website lists two available fabrics that seem to resemble the ITR material (going by the small picture provided on the site) - Avus and Nardo. Which of these, if any, is the correct fabric, I don't know.
