mid-to-low 16's is pretty much the average time for the late-model CRXs. Sounds like you're bang-on .

Why don't you head out to Mission Raceway this coming Friday or the next? All you have to do is replace your rad fluid with water... it costs $20 to run and you get 3-4 runs, imports vs. imports. I'll be out there this Friday; haven't decided if I'll run yet or not.

Besides my '94' GS-R, I have an '88' CRX Si and I haven't ran it at my local track yet. I've seen some stock CRX Si run in the mid 15's at least! You guys gotta give the CRX (2nd gen.) more credit than that. I mean it almost seems like I get more low end torque than my GS-R. I guess since overall Hp is about 108hp this limits the top end, but still. (I can't wait to see what I do at the track with it, when I do I'll post the times)

I've heard of them hitting 15s too, but that all depends on the driver... and of course, the tires!

On the other hand, my brother's got a stock CRX, and it definitely feels more torquey than my B16A CRX.

my friend hit 15.4 with his 88 si with intake, clutch, and exhaust...i dunno what to say? very lightweight i guess? my full interiored 90 civic si can beat some gsr's in first and second gear (i get smoked in third though...) so i think our ef's are pretty potent for sohc non-vtecs...
