Default your "bulletproof" Integra....what broke since you bought it and at what mileage???

What's it with guys who bitch and moan when ppl want to see how reliable their ride is despite pushing it hard??? You can't do it with a domestic. I live in Vegas, each summer, there's always a car stuck on the road overheated somewhere. I always smile when I notice most are domestics, while I whiz by in my import.

So, with all that high mileage, what broke? What have you replaced so far? I'm sure most of us would like to know so they will know what they MIGHT expect in the future.

My last ride was a 93 Celica GT, drove it to 144,000 miles and only replaced the starter, exhaust manifold, cv boot, and replaced the water pump/timing belt at 100k....preventive measure. The exhaust manifold was a design flaw...it overheated and cracked after taking 3 of my friends and I to Tijuana...buddy replaced it for me for $20. If my 99 GSR holds that well then I'd be a new Honda/Acura convert. My gf's 94 Accord EX has had 3 radiators, 2 water pumps, leaky oil pan, clutch replaced, new rotors every 1-2 years, 2 cv boots, at 150,000 miles. Needless to say, I am not impressed by Honda reliability. Got my fingers crossed on my new Teggy. Peace.

Must have been a Friday car. It also makes a big difference who does the work on your car. I will never let another shop touch my car again, especially not the dealer.

My clutch master cylinder went out as well at about 15K... It was under warranty, they fixed it for free and have never had a problem since... I did timing belt and water pump at 90K, I now have 125K, and still haven't even replaced a cv boot... ....

it does hate me, and i have a very good shop put it in each time....the first two were the OEM ones....i now have an Exedy and it seems to be doing much better than the OEM clutches. I'm even nice to my clutch...i dont power shift, i never ride it...i never hold my foot down on it at lights, ehhhhh but its better now so im somewhat happy with it. now my coolant system is all fucked because of the crappy plastic tanks on the stock radiator, got a new radiator, new hoses and all that junk and am putting it on this week. if my car has anymore problems im going to freak the **** out. it only has 78k on it i shouldnt be replacing anything other than wear items, which i do pretty religiously with the best parts.

Purchased 94 GS-R of 74K.
Master and slave cylinder at 80k
Timing belt and water pump 89K (preventive maint.)
Radiator 93K (every teg's radiator leaks eventually)
Battery 97K (bah...it was at least 8yrs old)
Clutch 100K(was the original OEM clutch)
Flywheel 100K (just b/c I wanted a lightweight one)
CV boot 100K (had a hole in it)

Also normal maintenace items of:
Plugs, Dist rotor and cap, fuel filter, and oil changes every 3.5K
New Kuhmos 712's becasue the Michelin GT2's that came on the car sucked ***!

hahahahahahahahaha, everyboy with a G3 integra manual knows that the OEM acura clutches are POS's and the springs sieze up at no fault to the user. the clutch master cylinder is also another part that goes out with no fault to the user on the G3 integras.
