Hey guys lets see some VIS Invader kits on some 4th gen Civic's. I don't care if anyone thinks its rice, I like the way it looks. So post away.

Haha damn you guys! Does anyone else besides me like this kit? I hate rice, like the rest of you, but this kit, as long as it isnt accompanied by altezza's, 18" rims, and vinyl graphics, or any other ricer mod, looks pretty good IMO.

The orange one as you can see was hit on the right headlight and the rear bumper is kind of wack, so yea it looks kind of shitty I do agree.

Maybe if you all weren't obsessed with JDM and were a little more open minded, you would respect me posting this and if you have a picture of an EF with an invader kit, then post it, if not, keep the kit bashing comments to yourself.

If I ever had that kit on my car, it sure as hell wouldn't be orange, and crooked or any **** like that. It would be black, and I would only install this kit after I swapped a B18 into it, and all other mods to back up this kit. Because, and believe me, I don't like show without any go.

 

not everyone here is obsessed with the jdm craze.....most of us just care about performance......and when you post a pic of a nasty looking kit on a car that i own i am gonna tell you it looks like ***.....and good luck finding members on this board that have crap like that on their car......not the image that most of like to present....i know i dont want my car to look like it could scoop up small animals and children

Where did I say I didn't care about performance? I would do my engine, suspension, wheels, and whatever else I could before getting a kit like this. I was merely asking if anyone had some pictures of this kit, and I get a bunch of remarks on how much the kit looks like ***. Very helpful guys, thanks a lot.

have you not noticed what 99.9% of the cars on here look like!!!???!!!??....no one gives a damn about kits and if they do they are simple kits that dont look like they are gonna come by my house when it snows to clear the roads for us

 

I was recently browsing though this forum and came across civic's with Street Fighter, and Black Widow kits, those aren't much less aggressive than this one. If no one gives a damn, then don't post. Simple as that.

Now how about we both stop arguing about this, respect what each other likes, and be done with it. I myself am not into this type of thing, and would probably NOT install this kit just for the fact that it addresses attention to theives. If I did ever get a kit it would be a Wings West urethane most likely. I so happen to like the looks of this kit, and wanted some PICTURES if anyone had any, not their smart *** comments on how bad it looks. I know they don't like the kit and a lot of people probably don't, I respect that. But all this isn't needed...

you know what , im not an *** and i wont flame you , but you reallllly cant expect to post that orange ef and not get flammed, it does look like *** ............you should know that people here dont like most body kits...people here are into what really matters on their car and its a rare thing on a message board to not have anyone more concerned with"rice" or how their car looks over functionality, everyone here is afraid that HT will loose this majestic difference from all the other message boards due to the pollution of newbies posts about euros and shopping cart wings

HT provides the best technical support on the internet when it comes to hondas, we have plenty of Professionals here who make their living with hondas.

.................. personally i think there are better kits you can buy.....but if you like that one, thats your choice ... have you looked on body kit websites for pics? such as

uh theeres more but those are the only 2 i know ....... whats sad is ill probly get flammed for helping you

I figured since this is the appearance forum, posting this thread wouldn't matter so much. If you want performance then look in the other threads, you don't look for performance in an appearance thread. I know how to look for pictures, but those are the only good ones ive came across. Nowhere did I say that I choose looks over functionality. I posted a harmless thread asking for some pictures of a body kit, in no way was I corrupting the forum with rice. I do agree that the orange civic looks like ***, and I now regret posting it. I despise altezza's, big wings, and all that, I just happen to have a liking in this kit, is there honestly anything wrong with that?

Since everyone is completely against this thread, hopefully a Moderator can delete it

dude, get straight , i wasnt trying to "diss" you , i was trying to give you a little bit of knowledge for the future , ............YES this IS the appearance forum and you have every right to post what you did , but i was trying to explain why everyone was flamming you so you wouldnt have to go through it again...... not once did i say anything about YOU being rice and not once did i say YOU chose looks over functionality ( where did you even get that from?) , but YES that orange thing IS rice , therefore people label you as rice, especially since you look fairly new to HT(few posts) ( sorry thats jsut the first impression most people will get in this forum) and yes appearance can be performance , a proper front lip can provide proper aerodynamics on the front of the car, why did honda even put these on there? why waste the money ? its not like people would or wouldnt buy a car becasue it has an extra 3 inches of plastic hanging off the front...........

i just think you took my original post the wrong way, i was trying to help you out , and inform you at the same time

body kits aren't my thing, but i just had to say.... that kit would look a lot better on a 5th gen. 88 - 91 civic's are too "boxy" IMO. the car has too many sharp edges for a curvey kit like that.

my ricer friend has that kit on his eclipse and since it's fiberglass, it's smashed all to hell from going in and out of driveways.
