for some reason, i dont think it got jacked.
from the pix, i think the story is..
- he got into an accident (not front end, or else airbags would have deployed)
- car was left at the junk yard
- people came by and bought pieces from it.
otherwise, if it was a theft, wouldn't they take the wheels, tail lighs, airbags, etc?

Looks like somone was using the car to get parts for their OWN car.. don't think they had intentions of selling.
