What is Exhaust Pipe A?
Went to the dealer for timing belt replacements and H2O pump last weekend. Dealer told me that I needed a new Exhaust Pipe A, is this expensive? Also how long does it take to put this exhaust pipe A. In addition, they told me that I needed a new boot. My CV joint is not clicking yet, do I need to replace my axle too? Are these expensive? They told me 4hours to put the new boot, 2 hours each side? Is this reasonable? Thank for any input.

So they are charging you 4 hrs labor to change the boots on the CV joints and install? I guess if they are going to rebuild the the joint and replace the boot that sounds about right. But I'm sure the dealership is going to tear you a new hole with the prices they charge.
I've heard NAPA sells rebuilt CV joints for under 100$(but must return your old one to avoid the core charge). You could just do the just buy rebuilt CV's from NAPA and install them yourself within 4 hrs. I would go with this cheaper, hands on alternative. Learn about your car and save money!
