Default Falken Azenis overall qaulity and drivability

Are these Falken Azenis tires good for a daily driver in the summer time? Do they last long and how are they in the rain? Can falken Azenis owners give me their overall impression? Thank You!

my friend with a GSR has them on his teg. after 15K miles the tread is almost gone. wet traction is scary, but they are rather sticky on summer roads - not recommended for all-season.

my recommendation: Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's

Sticky tires NOT EQUAL to long lasting. They have great dry traction. Nice stiff tire walls for corners. They're fine in light rain, just not too much water. They're the grippiest street radials I've used. Great tires for the price. HTH.

I have 712 on my car and they have not meet my expectations, they do not perform on the street as well as I expected. So many people hyped them up for me and I have been let down, these tires are for longevity and the rain. The only thing good I can say about them is that they are good for the price and that is about it. If you are willing to sacrafice performance for price, 712 are the way to go.
The Falken Azeinas are pretty much imo a perfect honda and acura tire. They are not the best but they are the best performing I believe second only to the God mother mary of all tires, Bridgestone Potenza SO-3. If you are looking for the best handling go with so-3, for best price and longevity Kuhmo 712, meet somewhere in the middle Falken Azeinas.

Ive always had the impression azenis have an edge over the SO3s for dry cornering but the SO3s owns on wet. Have you actually tried both on the same car setup?

I've had the azenis on for about 2k miles now, very impressed. Overall very grippy even in the rain storms we've been having now. When they're worn out, I'll buy another set, they're cheap.
I can't wait till summer to see how they are on dry roads.

if your looking for good tires then look at the specs on them. there are 4 specs, traction =AA is the highest, temp =A is the highest and tread which are in # like 300, 360 i dont what the highest tread rating is, higher the # the longer the tread will last. and last is the speed rating =Z being the highest

I have them on my car now, and i have to say that they are pretty good in wet weather, I have yet to have traction problems traveling at normal speeds 60-80mph.

They are very good tires, and i have had no problems with traction in heavy rain.

the treadwear on the tires is low, i had them and there is no other for the price who can be beat, but if you are looking for tires that will last you longer than about 8 months of daily driving.

Just get them, you will love every minute of it unless the temp. dips under about 40 degrees then they turn to a rock like substance that spins through second on the dryiest of roads

Who has had his on all winter in NY(bad one) becuase he will not buy a new set of tires till the Azenis fully die. So buy spring I should kill them and will just buy a new set for spring/summer

the actually aren't that cheap considering they are a 200 treadwear tire.

the are basically the same price as yokohama avs es-100's if you take into account the 280treadwear rating on them.

however, the fact that i lowered my car 1.5" and got new rims/tires (from white 17s... previous owner) and not getting an alignment had a lil something to do with it

Don't listen to this guy he is an idot. You can not compare treadwears from 2 different companies because Falken's 200 might be Yokohama's 280. Those numbers are pulled out of the companys *** on what they *think* they should put there because there are no federal standards or tests for the treadwear rating so every company is different.
Who went through some shitty *** tires with a tread wear of 500 just as fast as his azenis

I dont like TOYO's
I am running AZZENIS on my R and love them but if I was to buy a dialy driven tire it would be some KUMHO ecsta supras they are decent for performance (ran one season of AutoX on them), cheap and long lasting
but for performance you arnt getting a whole lot better then Azenis
only badside is they make u want to take corners fast leading to them wearing out too fast!
(holy crap I love these tires)
best tires ever

(where did all the tire go?)
(time to buy new tires)
