Default problems with valve to piston clearance?

im running us spec itr pistons with the skunk2 hi compression valves and a spoon 2layer headgasket, on my 95 gsr

would there be valve to piston problems with that set up?

I seriously doubt it. The skunk2 valves are just flat faced so I see no reason why they should be closer to the pistons than regular valves. You should clay it just for peace of mind though. BTW I was using JDM ITR pistons w/ flat faced valves and stock head gasket, w/ no problem so that'd probably be similar clearance to your setup. Good luck.
