I have JRSC and wnated to know how do I install a boost gauge? I just bought one but have no clue where it goes. If anybody can help me out I would appreciate it thanks! *Newbie* Please be specific hence I am a newb.

 

Ok I know half of you pple know how to do this...somebody help me out?

why did you buy a boost gauge if you dont know how to install it?

not everybody is mechanically inclined like you must be.. dont be a dick he is asking a legitimate question. But really you should search before and then ask questions.

Is it electric or mechanical?

either way, you need a source of vac/boost. Just tee off any of the rubber vacuum lines coming off of the intake manifold, and run that line into the cabin to the back of the booost gauge.

if its electircal, all you need to do is rin the wires from the sender for pressure/vac.

What kind of car do you have?

 

Is it a mechanical gauge or an electrical gauge? If there is a nipple looking piece coming off the back, it is mechanical.
