Default Rear Vented Brakes on ITR ? Advantages ? Please Respond !

Would Rear Vented Brakes be Advantageuos on a ITR .....particularly on hard braking .....or braking around corners ....

for street use i wouldnt see much of a gain other than maybe a bit more stability in emergency braking procudures ..etc

but for track duty , would they be helpful ?

would it be possible to use front calipers , and rotors from a ITR ...and impliment them in the rear ?

Yep. The fronts take the majority of the abuse.

Why do the rear pads then wear as quickly or sometimes quicker than the fronts then?

Likely using a softer compound i would guess. I toasted a set of rear Carbotech Kelate Metallic (autocross compound) after one weekend when i forgot to swap them out to OE's. They have a very low temp threshold.... I was getting 3 weekends on a set of fronts.

well, you would have to space them correctly and fabricate adapters to bolt up the
front calipers as well.
