I would like to swap out my tan gsr interior for a black itr interior. I once heard that the center console, the part with the shift boot, cup holder etc, will not fit in the gsr. is this true..i just dont want tan anymore

 

from what i have been told, they are the same.

It's the same, I have most the interior you would need from a 97 GSR. It's black leather. I have the following:

Front seats
Rear seats
Door panels
Carpet
Rear trim
Driver's side long rear panel
Cargo cover
Rear carpet
Kick panels

The main things you would need would be the dash, center console, (which I have most of it, including the armrest), and the passenger side long rear panel. Hit me up through email at bhimes@mcleodusa.net. It's all in great shape, I'll give you all that and whatever else I have that will help for $600 picked up.

i think the basemounts for the 2 front seats are different between Rs and the gsr/ls. i may be wrong, but i've found sparco aftermarket basemounts to be different (but then sparco's basemount designers are f'ing idiots).

 

righto! no difference for what i have seen between north american integra seats.

The seats indeed are different. To have LS cloth seats in the ITR, you need a longer rear bolt from the LS seats.
