Yeah, i've run an Autronic SMC on a boosted H23, and am currently running an SMC on my boosted S2000. Both cars ran on methanol, both with 1600cc injectors. The autronic ecu works killer. Great power, driveability, and even idle quality, without an IAC. I would recommend the Autronic system to anyone. I am also using a DIS4 on both setups, firing individual coils. for Autronic. Tyler, you better wake up and do some research on the Autronic. It is Windows based and much easier to make power than Motec. Also no limits on datalogging like Motec as well as invented by the same guy who did Motec. All the capabilities at half the price. http://www.dynospeed.com

BTW, the post by s2k1 above, if you think he is some stroke because no one knows him in this forum, here are some pix of his Benson sleeved, S2000, turbo powered, Autronic controlled, Ben Strader tuned dune buggy. The Autronic will live in any enviroment.

Oh my god is that in a dune buggy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That **** is the coolest thing I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!! Yo, I don't care who you are, if you put a freakin' s2k motor in a duen buggy your cool. If you can sleeve it, turbo it, and then put it in the dune buggy... Well let's just say your baller status has been confirmed...!!! Nice work!

Later,

Sean C.

What is the price like on these.. SMC and the SM2 and is it as easy as a hondata...??? Another Question is it said it was sequential that does mean that you can adjust for A/F ration on each individual cylinder correct... Thanks for any help you can provide.

Plus chris's buggy runs om Meth....and yes, he has put tons of miles on it and the oil comes out clean. Sequential meaning you have control of each cycl. seperate.

Damn, that thing is to clean to get dirty.

How much power did it end up putting out? Does it use the Fortin tranny?

I just sold my TEC 2 and myself an autronic SM2........SM4 and SM5 will bereplacing these some time this year...SM5 will have 8egt, 8-o2 sensors, dataloging capabilities.....SM4 will have on board dwell for the ignition. SM4 is the SMC repacement upgrade in the future.

Here take all you question and comments here........Autronic forum... http://64.127.132.30/forum/list.php?f=2

These are (discounted) H-T member prices only. Ben gives full and friendly tech support so if his prices are higher than some, his support can be priceless.
