Default Ms solid rear axle...leagal?

is it legal for quick class and hot rod class? Or is it just an all motor thing here? If there is a weight penalty, what is it?

would this apply?
Hot Rod: 3 (Brakes and suspension): Suspension, Rear
"Factory independent suspension may be replaced with straight-axle
suspension, but must retain original upper mounting points. Strut tower braces, lower tie bars, sway bars, and limit straps are
permitted. Rear suspension must maintain minimum shock travel of
1 inch. All rear suspensions must use at least one working shock
absorber per wheel. Strut must attach to original OEM upper
mount."

That's the whole Rear suspension paragraph. So it seems it would be legal.

1" of travel in what direction? is that .5" up and .5" down for a total of 1" or one inch up and/or down?

I think that's just to disuede people from having rear "shocks" that don't really move. But that's just my guess.

Sorry you answered my first question, but can we lengthen the rear-suspension to make it taller?

the thing is, I think Elite is the only manufacturer to make something that doesn't require cutting or modifying the subframe.

MB has one also, for cheaper(which doesn't come with wheels)but I'm pretty sure the rear subframe has to go with this kit. It should be okay for all motor classes, but not in any of the hotrod or quick classes

is there a place where I can actually call and talk to someone and order the Elite Kit? I've seen them berofer, but I wanna know where to get them and who I can talk to about specifics
