Default Help me decide on this bike...

Hey guys, I am looking at a 1999 F4 right now. It has aroudn 7000 miles on it, and is in good shape. Needs a new front tire and has a scratch here and there. Guy said he would let it go for 4500. It has a clean title but was stolen once. No damage done. Let me know what you think. Also, if anyone in South Florida has a bike for sale, let me know. Ryan

I got mine with 14k miles back in June of last year for 4800... the lady threw in new brakepads and sparkplugs too. Clean, no scratches, and with a Yoshimura Titanium slip-on. How bad are the scratches? Also you said it was stolen... in CA if it was stolen and there was some damage (say the keyhole was messed up) it would have a salvage title... dunno how it works in Florida. Hope this helps

You could find a cheaper deal. I don't know about florida but around here, once a vehicle is reported stolen it has a salvage class title. Regardless of whether it was wreckedor stripped

Guy says it comes with a clean title, never had a salvage title issued. He said he did replace the locks though. I've beem looking for something under 5K, any suggestions? I need to buy in the next week. Ryan

Seems a fair price to me, assuming the damage is only minor.

thats a fair price, but you can get a 98-99 gsxr 750 in great condition for that price. the 750 is way nicer in every way. get a gsxr IMO
