Default Newbie with CRX Lowering ?

This is my first post so I don't want to get bombed on but I just purchase a 88 CRX DX and this thing is 4" off the ground. It looks like it may have springs but I can't tell. Would a 2.25" drop raise it up because I'm going to use this as my comuter(well thats what I tell the wife). In the future I want to do a swap.

what he means is that he thinks that it is already lowered but like 4" or so... he doesnt want it that low so he was wondering if a smaller drop would be better...

your best bet is to find out what exactly you have the car riding on now and then you can figure out how much of a drop would suit you better...
