Default swap an ls or b16 into 91 civic si hatch?

i have a 91 civic si and i want to know what is better, an ls or a b16. which is: faster, stronger, more reliable, cheaper, easier, etc?

How much do you have to spend? Is this gonna be a daily driver? Do you want to stay n/a or go turbo? You need to answer those kind of questions before you ask. Also, use Search if you want to find some basic info on either of those engines.

B16 will probably be a little quicker. They would be about same price if you get the JDM b16a1 from 90-91 SIR, around $1000-1500...LS has a bit more torque, if u plan on going turbo I would go with LS...
