I have a 89 Std DX. We swapped a 1st gen B16A. It's in the car and it runs. The vetc kicks and everything but the engine check light is still on. All the connectors are connected and the lights and turn signals, etc. work. What could be the problem??? Also, when i drive there is a big vibration when i try to get out of first gear and reverse. This only occurs when i am just starting to get out of 1st gear and reverse. When i am in the high rpms, there really ins't a problem at all. What could be the problem??? Please help, thanks. ( Could alignment be the problem to the vibration because we still need to get tie rod ends from an SiR becuase we used the SiR knuckles/hubs and there is only so much alignment can do and it isn't enough) Sorry for the long post.
