i know in arizona it doesnt matter if you have a hood or not. But i wouldnt want to be like ANYONE from **** and the curious. And u should get that see trough fiberglass ****...that would be bad ***... gl and call the DPS and ask them

 

my friend and i drove to long island to pick up a carbon fiber hood for him with no hood on his car (no other way to get it), about an hour and a half trip.. it was an interesting adventure

It isn't illegal to drive without a hood as long as you have a fan shroud... Basically, the only thing they are concerned with is somebody stickin their hand in your engine bay and getting their hand cutoff... You can run on the strip without a hood, contrary to what most people believe... I see v8 guys do it all the time...

 

Didnt he have a clear hood ?

 

Think about this--old skool hot rods (i.e. 32 Fords, T-buckets etc...) run without hoods, and they don't get cited.

However, an import (especially one influenced by F&F) doing this deserves a (except in the case of buying a CF hood and not having tramspo space).

i was at a skate park in louisville one night and this woman backed into the front of my car, my hood wouldn't latch back so I had to drive back to TN with no hood, it was definately interesting, but the car got fixed asap... then i sold the car after it got hit, i hate having crap that has been hit in the front.

 

theres some guy around my area who does that all the time......he's not too bright of a guy though. I think it's kinda pointelss personally.

 

Have you guys heard of aerodynamics. I agree with this guy... Pointless.

Why don't you make it even easier for thieves to jack ****.. Roll with no doors either.

I would never want to drive without a hood. For example, what if a bird's crap lands in my engine bay, or some little small animal manages to get in there when my car is parked, and then I drive off with it? Big problem.

 

its stupid, thieves see what they want, yank out your horn faster and take your car.

from Rancho Cucamonga to Palmdale.. on my way to pick up my Fiber Images cf hood.. it was about an hour drive

my friend did it too for the same reason but he had an accord.. we didnt get pulled over so I guess the cops were cool or somethin
