I have not recieved a ticket but the Local Police are starting to Harass me about having clear corners instead of AMBERS!! I have had these lights on my car for about 2years but now they are out to get me!! They have also called my car a piece of **** and to take it of the road if i want to stay trouble free!!
He also tried looking under my car to see if i have a cat or not but for some reason he did not notice the test-pipe mostly because i sprayed it black with high heat temp paint to keep it stealth!! I getting really worried and thinking about going back to stock to stay out these PIGS way!! WHAT SHOULD I DO???????

Umm, is that an Extreme bumper on your car and is this ITR related?

If you are going to keep the clear corners then I would suggest putting amber bulbs in them. Another legal option would to just change back to the amber lenses.

 

Go back to stock if you don't want trouble (which you seem very against having). I don't know why you can't see this simple solution on your own

Clears = Trouble.
Amber = No trouble.

Pick a solution from the above list.

Yeah but guys are CLEARs really ILLEAGAL nobody on this website has ever complained about POLICE pulling them over for having them!! Why are they singling me out??? And why are they calling my car a piece of ****?? I almost was going to say something to the cop about his job but common sense luckily caught my tounge!!

 

Clears are illegal. See above post for a solution to your problem.

And who cares what they say to you, you didn't get a ticket and should therefore consider yourself lucky that you have yet to be "singled out". Cops will do/say whatever they want, and there really isn't anything you can do about it save follow the law so this won't happen again.

 

You've been lucky for 2 years. Just put the amber lights back on.

Maybe the cop got cocky and flamed your car because you don't seem to care about following the law. Case in point: you installed an illegal turn signal replacement. Honda put those clear corners on for a reason, because they are required by law. Are your clear corners DOT (Department of Transportation) certified? If not, then they're probably not legal. Listen I'm not trying to bag on you. I have a JDM front end, I have some of the the same problems, but that is just what comes with the territory. You have to accept it.

And about the cop being rude. Thats just American police culture. Cops in the US try to intimidate criminals and use rough measures. If you don't like this you could move to a gentler society like Canada or Sweden.

 

the answer is completely and wholly obvious... and you are not being singled out by any means. stop victimizing yourself, take off the ugly front bumper and put your ambers back in if you don't want to get over and have your car insulted (which seems justified, looking at that bumper)
