i know this is kinda OT, but.. can someone tell me if the R wiring harness is the same as "honda 98-up?" because i am currently trying to install an alpine cda-7894, and i have two honda 98-up wiring harnesses for behind the deck, and they don't fit. And there was no such thing as an acura harness. they all came in honda/acura applications. Can anyone help me out? arrrgghghh

 

My 98 ITR uses the 'older' style wiring harness. Chances are yours does too since the deck did not change. I have one for sale if you are interested. $8 shipped.

I remember using an 88 and up honda wiring harness.

 

Acura didn't change their harness in 98 like they did for the Honda's for some odd reason. Use the 88-up Honda harness.

 

Correct...the audio harness for Integra's has been the same way for all 3 gens.

While you're wiring it up, unless the deck has a separate lead and antenna lead out, throw a switch on the antenna override switch No more antenna when the cd player is on.
