Hi, well i pulled all nighter fixing up the little odds and ends of my car. But before i started working on it i took it for a short spin around the block. When morning came after fixing the lights, panels ect i tried to start her up fr a little morning cruise. It started up a little different. I think both my headlights came on when i tried to start it. It started and i let it warm up in my garage for a minute or so. When i was ready i released the Ebrake and right when i dropped the ebrake the engine died. I tried to start her back up but it would just turn, but no start.
My application is a B17A1 in a 1991 CRX DX with a P28 ECU, i have everything to make the car run but something got screwed up. So any detailed information/diagrams/step by step guide would help a ton.

I checked all my fuses and all but one checked out okay (i replaced it). It still woudlent run. I have ignition i know that for a fact, i think what i dont have is fuel, i cant hear the pump when i turn the keys.

All my wireing is in a huge ugly clump under my driverside dash. Im guessing something might have disconnected when i tried to ziptie to clean up the wire mess. Since i did not do my wireing i have no idea what is what. I am a total newbie to hondas so any information is useful.

well if your not getting fuel the first thing i would check is main relay. honda pumps are hard to hear though so have a friend turn on the car and put your head right beside the pump. also when you turn on the car the check engine will come on then blink off, basically when the pump comes on. i figured you would have told us if the light wasn''t coming on or staying on but have you noticed this?

 

hhrm, well i just woke up and tried geting it to work. Yes i did notice the check engine light came on for a brief moment when i turned the keys. But when i tried to start it it wouldent work. Well 2 funny things was up.

1. both my side arrow lights in my cluster turned on when the check engine light came on.

2. the dead sttartup were inconsistent. sometimes it would start and sometimes i would have to press the brake inorder for it to turn.

Well, i just by curiousity tried turning on my headlights then turning them off. Then tried starting the car. And the damn thing started up! i let it run for a while then tried it without the headlights, and it ran. Now it runs like normal. I am incredibly happy but still am worried, what was the problem? i dont want this to happen again.

Right now im heading off the get some zip ties to clean up my wire mess and a long batery line so my battery can sit in my rear batery box. Ill be back, thanks Trinity.
