I just picked up a front driver side door for my car for only $40. with all power options working.
I need to know if there is a plug to disconect the wires from the door & the body.
The guy i got the door from cut the wires in the door jam. will i need to make a new harness for my door?

 

first off wtf do you need a whole new door for?

the harness is one peice from door to body.

carefully dissassemble your current door. by removing the door panel you will be able to access and unplug all the wireharness connections in the door. depending on the power options you got you will need to get window, mirror, locks, and switches. if you don' thave those options but are adding them (which I suspect is the reason for the new door) all the connections will be there but unsued. as you remove the door pull all the wires out of the door so you can pass them back into the new door.

 

New door is needed because my sister hit my door with her car. bent the window track & the frame at the top of the door. not repairable.

 

Hey Rub...... where can I get a 90 Complete Door for my coupe..
I need one bad when I bought the car it had madd damage on the passenger side door..
