my friends and i found a 1988 Accord [ we believe its an LXi, but have not verified this yet ]. it has 130k miles on it .. and the guy is selling it for like .. $200. the body is rusted to ***** .. i'm not sure about the frame. but anyways. we just want to have some fun with it...

has anyone done any sort of work to this particular gen? anyone know what kind of swaps would work easily? ideas? suggestions? any would be appreciated. thanks.

 

I believe a B18C or a B16C will fit in there and someone makes the mounts to bolt it up but I can't remember who sells them...

I don't really know much about the aftermarket for those 3rd generation Accords (even though I own 2). If you don't already go there, tryhttp://www.3geez.com .

custom order the exhaust and you be more happy(cheap and the way you want it)
intake you can always custom make it from hdm material..have fun.
