CRX owners advice need..HELP
Hey whats up everyone i just bought a 86 Honda CRX Si and i want to buy an exhaust, intake, chip, and suspension. I have no clue on what stuff to buy. I want the best stuff out there with the greatest perfomance gains. What do you guys recomend i get. Thankyou.
For the money you would spend to hop up that 12v engine I would say its not worth it. I'd use the money and get a B16A. With a little work that engine alone would make you CRX nasty. www.hasport.com makes a kit to do this.

B16, don't waste your time on a zc.
you will need knuckles from a 86-89 integra, some wiring, and not sure about which axles. i believe this totalled about $2500 in sport compact car's write up.
if you just want some gains from your stock motor, buy a JC Whitney u-bend for intake piping, and get a cheap filter somewhere. if you have a hacksaw and some brains, you can fab your own intake. as for an exhaust, take it to an exhaust shop and have them make a cat back. then buy a test pipe. don't worry about an exhaust chip, they don't do wonders on hondas like they do on the V-Dub's.
