First mods.
Well I just got a K&N filter in the mail today, along with new bulbs for my head light. Installing the light bulbs were fairly easy, but I'm having some trouble fitting the filter. Rather, I have no idea how Im going o it. Help?

Hmm, I haven't seen pics of the engine bay for an 86 Accord. If someone else doesn't help you out, I'll go look for pics of the engine bay, then see what I can do to help you.

there are 3 clips around the airbox, undo those and then the screw in the middle (i think there is a screw, if not then no biggy) and that lid lifts off and you pull the round filter out and place the new one in, clip the clips back down and you are ready to go.
