Hopefully a street all motor class will be added next year ( 04' ) that can implement weight rules and setup requirements (no lexan windows, no chassis cutting, no tubed fronts etc...) and make a REAL all motor street class for N/A guys.
It would be the perfect battle groud for West and East coast N/A street car builders to duke it out.
Weight minimums would make it possible for chassis selection to be irrelevant as a common weight could be agreed upon and run.
Maybe its too much to wish for but I would love to run in that class....there's always the brackets

nopi dosent have a hybrid street class battle is the only one iv seen so far looks like all the hybrid people get to bracket race agian
pretty much the reason i sold my gold teg. at the lightest i got it of 2300lbs it couldn't compete pro what so ever...and without an old NIRA comp4/super4(which i won alot) class it forced me to bracket race. i think that these sactioned bodies really need to get their act together. The truth is....having street classes sells products more so then pro classes in my opinion and they should be added.
the ndra na street class dosent allow motor swaps (single cam to dual cam swaps) but its good class for the integra gsr/itr people

you should be able to build a d series motor strong enough to take a light *** HB through the quarter just as quick as an integra goes with a B motor.

Reality is a bitch and a crazy SOHC motor wouldnt be very fun to drive to work IMO.
All motor , STREET 4 cyl unibody cars on drag radials aka "All motor street" would be a nice class to see. You could even do it like "real street" class mustangs that have to drive for 70 miles to prove they are street cars (cooling systems etc...) I think this type of class would show what REAL STREET driven N/A cars are capable of and maybe sway a few more people to build N/A motors. Not just "race" setups in light cars but streetable B series motors in real street cars.
yup you should be able to build a d16 to compet trust me its in the works
