i need your guys help with some info on a swap. im stuck out here in no. fla. away from the west and i got these guys working on my car, anyway, its a 1st gen b16 in a 90 hatch, hasport wiring harness that i had in a 88 4 dr. they crashed the **** on a test drive, so the motor and harness went into the hatch. anyway, i drove it a bunch of times and the last time i drove it was loading up on fuel, come to find out it was something to do with the 02 sensors, but thats the least of the problems, now they cant get it to start, something about the main relay under the dash making noise and then it finally went. i havent had time to get into it because i work on ******* airplanes all day and i dont feel like dealing with it at the end of the day, but know its time to. i talked to my mechanic back home and he said they are ******* morons, and that it is probably something simple that he could walk me through over the phone, he said that it could be the starter, the battery might not have any cranking amps, yada, yada, yada oh yeah these guys said that the car sounds like it wants to crank over once and then stops, my mechanic said its possible that the cylinders could be filled with coolant something about hydro-lock or something. anyway car wiring is foreign to me, i can work on aircraft wiring, but the shitty car manual has very little information about what signals go where and what kind of voltage they need. did i say enough yet? i cant wait to get back home where people know what they are doing! i guess that's what i get for dealing with amateurs come on east coast get your **** together or dont do this stuff at all ok
