Well I hope I'm not whoring the board with these turbos. I just figured as I get them in I'll give you guys a chance to see the quality since PT doesnt have any pictures of these turbos on their website. Anyway on to the nitty gritty. This turbo is the first one released from Precision of this kind. this is their new Gt series turbo. It has a .60 compressor housing with a 61 wheel. the back housing is .68 t4. The turbo is rated at over 680hp.

i saw one on a gsr w/9.1-1 pistons put 404hp to th wheels at 1.1 bar. pretty impressive!! the amount of cfms pushed is amazing....i would have bought one but my manifold has a t3t4 flangs and i don't have enough space fot he adapter.

 

Slap that thing on the civic!

 

I have been looking at those compressor maps recently and wondering if that turbo would be perfect for big power for a B-series.

What Honda motor is that on and what's the setup and when do you start boosting?

 

is that a ball bearing turbo??

what style flange does it use?? t3?

 

This turbo is for Honda 1.8-2.0's. depending on your compression,timing,displacement, boost should come on at about 5k or so. its a t4 flange and its not ball bearing.

Umm why don't they make some ball bearing ones? I want a ball bearing turbo. I also want ot save some bread and wait for someone that makes nice ones with a ball bearing center.

Damn those precision pieces are beautifully made. You can see the quality. I think I'm going to bitch out my Tubonetics for being so crappy looking.

 

Some turbos come in ball bearing, some dont. What are you looking in a BB tzsir maybe I can help. Precision has the best looking housings around bar none.

 

I was looking at the Garrett unit, but that's way to much money for me right now. I want somethng that'll support around 600HP fo a 2.0l B18. If I had some compressor maps for the Precisions I could tell you exactly what I want, but I couldn't find them anywhere.
I want a ball bearing unit because I want to move the efficiency peak to my rev limit at 8500 rpm. Then spool won't be much of an issue. Please let me know what you can do for me.

 

yes 750 shipped and you connect the downpipe with a vband clamp. i can get it with or w/o v band for you.

 

 

It sounds like a drag racing turbo to me.. alot of laggg time... i bet it does provide hella hp, when it gets spooled
