Default Carbon fiber look on the passenger side vent?

On the Type R the passenger side vent is plain black (see picture below). If you ever wanted to have it match the other carbon pieces please read on.

A friend of mine is in the process of making a deal with a custom painter. The artist will paint the vent to match the other carbon fiber pieces. It will be hand done and it will take about a week. The price is a little steep. It will be around $50-60.

IM if you are interested. Once the artist completes one vent I will post pics.

To be continued.......

I guess, I'll have to roll Ventless on the passenger side for a week!

Yah, the vent easliy pops out. And you'll still have air coming out.

Meh, that always has annoyed me, but $60 is kind of steep... *shrug* I mean, come on, for $60 I could buy a Mugen Key chain or something

Because you can sell your stock vents for $350 like me and just replace them with stock integra black vents. In fact I was given $350 and 97 ITR AC controls to replace my 2001 carbon fiber one. All that is missing now is my drivers side vent.

< who can live without his driver side vent for the time being with $350 extra in is pocket.

Heh, that's what I was going to suggest.

IMO the fake carbonfibre is the modern counterpart to the plastic wood in an '83 Buick. Yech!

agreed i have a full itr interior except for all the carbon fiber pieces. only cf is in the itr gauge cluster, the rest the flat black integra pieces. looks better IMO. but cf is cool if you're into it. to each there own. AA, nice job on making 350.00. that worked out in your favor
