act clutch *oopsi .. 4 puck user i need advice
i have my act 6 puck about 8 months .. last week it just went out .. well .. i finally pulled my tranny off .it turns out that the splines on the shaft in my tranny and the splines in the clutch disc weret matching up and the disc splines stripped out .i guess i dint line the tranny up right last month when i put a new tranny in. so my question is has anyone ran a 4puck? did you break anything? how long did it last?
what are you using it for? I had a 4 puck in my old 94 si and it sucked on the street, I would either get a sprung hub clutch or another 6 puck

i will be daily driving it .. but what i am curious about is will i break anything racing? axles, tranny?
I run a 4 puck on the street with an extreme pressure plate . . . hey it was cheap for 400 bucks!. It's not as bad as anyoen thinks I think my friend's organic disc on his 5 liter is harder to engage. I've had mine for almost a year and it still grabs hard like a pervert in a strip club. Unless you really don't know how to use it properly or you're laying down crazy power down to the pavement I doubt you're goign to break anything. Besides thinks break faster when you go fast
well im running a LS with a 100 shot off the line on 555's. what do you think ?i dont think it will be too much .i just really dont want to get towed home from the runs.
I was running a 4 puck ACT clutch in my CRX for about a year and 2 months, the previous owner already had the clutch in the car. I didn't break anything but I finally switched it out for a 6 puck sprung with a new tranny while I was at it...
