i have been looking for an exhaust for my 92 hatch for a while now. It is a ls turbo t3t4, running between 10-13 psi max!!!!!! uM I MADE MYSELF A 3 INCH EXHAUST but it sounds like ****, so im looking for something else. I want a greddy evo 70mm, but i cant seem to find it. i know thermal makes a 3 inch, but i dont really like that too much. Any suggestions? Do i even need a 3 inch? or is 2 1/4 ok? That seems to be what everyone sells.

 

2 1/4" will be too small. I'd go no smaller than 2.5" but 3" would probably be optimal.

I don't know who makes a 3" for the hatch but I'd imagine most companies who make turbo exhausts would make one for a hatch.

muffler is oval, tip is round. i like the quality, the sound, the performance, and the looks of this exhaust the best of all the "off the shelf" exhausts. you can't go wrong with thermal.

 

ok, im considering the thermal, BUT does anyone know if the 70mm greddy evo is still available for a hatchback???? I cant seem to find it. They do make it for the coupe though. i was thinking about buying the one for the coupe and shortening up the back of it. I like how the evo hides up under the bumper, i hate bling bling shiny in ur face stuff

 

its my understanding that the evo exhaust was never available for the hatch. 96+ coupe only. maybe they made some of the 70mm's but i don't think so.

 

yea it was available, one of my friends had one a few years ago. right now it is only available for coupes and 4drs

How big is the tanabe racing medellan?? I have that on my turbo LS and was wondering if it is any good.

Defently go with the Thermal 3", i got a Thermal on my 96 Integra, best sounding exhaust i've heard...

 

thermal is hella loud... what about the N1 exhaust... is that 60mm or is it bigger?

 

Anyone know if the apexi N1 exhaust is bigger than the tanabe... I feel really sad now, I just bought my tanabe like 3 months ago for 700 installed. Am I lossing really that much HP b/c of my exhaust or should I not even worry about it.

 

go with thermal 3"..... but get rid of that god awful tip.
