i actually thought of this idea when i was lookin at the best buy for the black SRDs with red stitching.... and i guess it pertains to those more so than other seats... but this just might help just for the hell of it.

I personally own a civic Si, but i have recaro seats in them. And since the civic and integras are so damn easy to steal, and easy to part out.... for kicks, you might wanna take a permanent marker and draw something or put a few numbers on the underside of the seat... so incase anyone ever decides to steal your car or seats, you can ask for a pic of the underside of the seat to see if its stolen.... make sure you take a pic of your drawing along side a piece of mail that has your addy and name on it, for evidence that the seats are yours.... i dunno.. guess you could do this to almost any popular stolen/resold part... but yeh... its a start... im seeing a lot of threads accusing ppl of stealing stolen parts....

Not a marker but getting a # etched in, and I'm trying to fabricate some really thick metal from a bike lock from seat rail--->to seat rail---> to car, only time will tell. Also, i reccomend peope buy an extra piece of the (in recaro case, AVUS material) or something color-matching to the seat and cover up whatever name brand, just for less attention.
