Intake Manifold Swap
Ok guys, here's my problem.
I have a '91 CRX Si, but put a SOHC-VTEC motor from a '95 delsol in it. Now I decided to get a ported/polished intake manifold/throttle body for my car. Well When we swapped the engine, we used the ORIGINAL manifold/throttle body. Now that I got a ported/polished one, I sent in the one that came with the engine. Here inlays the problem. The new manifold has fewer connections. There are too many differences to list, but has anyone doen this swap? Please let me know what I should do about it. Thanks.

ok, the manifold will bolt up the the engine head, but all the vacume lines are different. since im currently using the original manifold, i never had to think about these.
On the new Throttle Body, there's only one vacume line, on mine, there's
two. On mine, they seem to go to 1, the fuel filter, and 2 on the firewall
somewhere
On Mine there's three on the top front side in the middle, going to
1 the fuel rail
2 PVC valve
3 dashpot diaphram (which the new one doesnt have at all)
the new one there's only 2 there
There's two on the back top of the manifold, one crossing the manifold going
to to near the throttle body, and the other going to the firewall again
(about the same place). the new one, there appears to only be one place for
a vacume line.
hope this clears a little up thanks.

Just connect things to loke spots from your old manifold to the new maifold. "T's" and Caps work wonders too. Just get it so that your ideal is good. If you need more help after at least attempting it yourself first. Then I'm sure other members and myself would be glad to help.
