Argument with Co-worker.
He spent some time in Japan and swears by his honor that the JDM b18c5 or ITR is a 2 liter motor.
"no" I say, "otherwise there wouldn't be an 18 after the B, there would be a 20!"
Where would he get the idea that the JDM ITR is a 2 liter? am I missing something?

what a dumb ***..........he obviously doesn't know **** about hondas.............using the engine code to figure out the size of the engine is probably one of the first things I ever learned about hondas back in the day
I'm glad we see eye to eye.
And to this comment:
I don't care. You understood the message I portrayed did you not?
And to this comment:

yeah....he probably was taking a **** while reading them JDM magazines reporting the Spoon 2 liter ITRs. Most likely, the only symbols your co-worker recognize on those magazines are "2.0 L"

RSX is called Integra in Japan. Perhaps he is talking about the RSX Type-R, which is still named the Integra? Maybe it is just a little communication problem. Not worth arguing about.

That's what I'm thinking.
That's what I'm thinking.
1) He's talking about the new Type R and doens't know the engine code.
2) All the ITR's he has seen were bored out to 2.0?
3) The ITR's he has seen have F20B's swapped into them.

Hey I spent some time in Japan and tofu...It's made out of People!! ITS PEOPLE!
Anyway like everyone else said B18C is 1.8L not 2.0.
