Lost wheel lock key......any alternative to buying new one for 50 bucks?
Yup i dumb i lost it. acura said the only way they sell them is in a set wth the 4 lugs for $50. i called around at tire places and said they dont hae them. any way to get around this? i cant bring myselfd to pay 50 bucks for it
depends what kind of lock it is. although you could end up stripping it, just buy the lock, is it a factory wheel lock? i'm sure you could get it somewhere else.
if its an oem key. just get the number off the packaging and call up the place which made it. shoudl be around $20 or so.
thats what i had to do with my honda oem locks. called macguard gave them the key lock number and visa # and got one in 5 days

hammer a socket on there and bring them off.

If they are standard 12x1.5 19mm lugnuts and you have the space, hammer on a 20mm socket and spin them off... some tire dealers have mcguard or gorilla sets for about $25
