well aparently that was the problem the entire time my civic wasnt starting... and that is just gay..e ven though i got a new one for only about 100$ im happy... but now i owe my parents a woppin 2950$... i need to sell my subs
i mad this post mainly to let yall know... cause i had no idea.. no one on the boards mentioned the distributor... so i thought i would get the word out.. if your car cranks.. but wont start.. try that
Instead of just replacing the whole distributor, you should've checked the individual parts inside. I had a problem with my car not starting, changed out the ignition coil and it was good to go.

How the Hell you got a distributor for 100?? i have blown 7 distributors within last year and to this day i have a distributor that is fucked given me a code 9. i found a guy who builts distributor for 350 because for my v-tec motor and comes with year warrnty. distributors is my worst ememy in my car.
I blew it in 2002. when i first got my b16 i blew it 2 weeks later, then got a brand new gs-r distrbutors and totally fried that one in 2 days, then blew another one when i was flooring it down the freeway. i guess something happen inside the distributor. then got a another one and its was fine for a month then it went out again. then i was getting pissed about it so i was thining about going distibutorless msd. then when i fully built the block and and when we started it you heard this very loud valves knocking. took us almost 4 hours do figure it out. then when we try to restart the car it won't work. the ****** went out again. so i got brand new one for 200 bucks and that blew and now i have a fucked up in my car right now given me a code 9 until that guy who rebuilting my distributor right now gets some in to exchange it.
