So the engines in the car...all im waiting on is my TB and header...heres my setup:
importbuilders 2l GSR block running 12:1 CR
portflow P&P type R head with complete vavletrain and skunk2 stage 2 cams
comptech icebox
toda header, carsound cat, and Greddy EVO exhaust
Hondata s100 with RC 440cc injectors
AEM FPR, fuel rail and B&M FP guage
CM stage 4 clutch with CM flywheel
Skunk2 cam gears
So what do you guys think? what do you think ill be puttin down? anyone see any weak links in the setup? just wondering what ya'll think of it.

What kind of valvetrain are you going to use with your Skunk2 Stage II cams?

 

Id say go with a different exhaust if anything. Not sure how great the GReddy is compared to other stuff out there. Tough to say how much power you will be making, but I know someone with a LS head/2L CRV bottom end, ITR cams, basic bolt ons, and interior gutted and he was running mid to high 13's in a gutted LS teg. not sure how much power he is actually making though. Good luck and tuning is key

 

with that kind of a setup, i might go for a custom exhaust, Evo is a great sound though..

say Bye bye to da carsound. It with destroy itself under the extreme conidtions of your motor and I'd look into a different exhaust but other than that looking good

 

nice set up but i think the injectors are way too big

 

what kind ot tranny are you running in there that plays a big role in your 1/4 mile time if it's the gsr better get a lsd

 

I agree! The greddy evo is 2.36mm which would create a bottleneck when going from the Toda 2.5" collector to the 2.36 of the Greddy. I would stay with 2.5" throughout the entire exhaust system for maximum gains.

 

yea, it'll be on pump gas w/ alot of tuning.
also ill be using my Type R tranny so ill at least have an LSD
my valvetrian is a portflow
yea, that what i was thinking of with the exhaust, anyone know of a 2.5" b-pipe that will bolt up to the EVO axle back?
and also why do you say the cat will go bye bye? ive heard a few people running the carsound with the 2l setup? which cat should i run on it then?

what about the Type-one B-pipe? does anyone know if that bolts up to the EVO axle back? after everythings on there, ill let you guys know what i dyno at..
