H22 Radiatior Question

Default H22 Radiatior Question

got a 97 ex wit a h22, im running my stock single core radiator. its not overheating or anything like that. temp is almost half. question is, how long and safe is it to run on my stock ex radiator?

Not very long. It will eventually cause problems, carbon build up, or your headgasket may have issues (blow, or the block/head gasket may get warped).

I would get any dual core radiator ASAP

PS -> your boy still have that P28?

i also have a h22 civic, i ran stock radiator all summer and the fan was always coming on. i switched to a full lenght prelude radiator and it ran much cooler.fan never comes on any more. i highly recomend doing one.

I agree...I ran my single core in my 96 hatch and it did get warm in the summer. I switched to a 94 Integra radiator ( perfect width and height ) and it runs at about 1/3 temp......fan rarely comes on now. I also run an FAL single fan unit and it works great.

get a delsol dual core radiatorn thats what i have and my car has never came close to over heating

kool, well looks like ima be gettin me either either gsr or lude radiator. also how well will a lude radiator fit? and poison i my boy still has the p28 and i can get for ya anytime if ya wanted to trade me that p13. let me know

I use an ex automatic radiator which is dual core and also has extra spouts so that you could run a custom oil cooler.
