my accord is dead
i took it in and got the starter replaced....and when i got it back, the clutch felkt funny, oh well must bee cuse i ahvent driven it in a while, got the new tire i needed and went home.....this morning i went out to the car, started it up and when i lifted my foot off the clutch i noticed that the clutch didnt coem back up.....i began cursing.....i lifted the clutch with my foot hoping it was a fluke, and depressed it again, in hopes of a miracle....no luck.....it styaed down, no pressure in it at all.....now heres my question....do i necessarily have a burnt out clutch....if i had less pressure yesterday than normal, and none today....could i have bad hydrualics....does the clutch work on hydraulics....(i think it does..?)
$80 i think form the dealer. i forget, but its a pain to switch out because you gotta lay on your back hnaging out of the car. it could also be the clutch slave cylinder, so check that too. thats like $50. i cant remember the exact prices of them , but call honda and ask them.
yeah sounds like the slave cylinder or master cylinder. i just had to replace my slave cylinder b/c all the fluid leaked out of a crack it had. or somethin like that. cost me 215 for parts and labor. good luck man.
