Guys what's the largest Magnaflow Oval muffler you can fit behind an integra...3" of course in/out...part # (4"x9",5"x8", 5"x11") would be appreciated. and what size resonators are you using in conjunction with the Magnaflow....i'm lookin into a 22"...and does anybody know if you can paint the SS Magnaflow muffler with High temp paint.... black of course!

 

I don't know about tegs but for my 96 hatchback i bought the biggest oval muffler i could find. if you're gonna paint it, save some money and buy the aluminized one!

as far as resonators, i used a 16" dynomax bullet (maybe 18, can't remember) muffler...made very little difference. i would look at those long borla mufflers instead of a glasspack type...

thanks man...you didn't notice a DB difference with your dyanomax bullet muffler?..which you used as a resonator i persume...I need to control DB...I understand that the turbo will reduce noise in itself, but further DB control is what i need! hrmmmm I think imma go to the muffler shop today...and try to get the low down on DB control..and get some ideas....I'm almost complete fellas...i'll post the pics....ditched the ems route..i don't need that for 7-8psi....i'm going to test out the profec e-01 and the e-manage....doesn't seem like anybody is trying that route.....

 

about the resonators,
my thermal cat-back resonator was dented so I had to replace it. I went with the 4" round Magnaflow 22" long (the longest they make)
I thought it would dampen the exhaust more, but its a little louder than before. The magna hoe flows great though. Its straight through, and barely dampens the sound.
