I have a few sets of these at the price of $130 shipped. That's only $65 shock for a brand new Koni! You can afford to buy ITR LCAs at that price (Fits any 88-95 Civic using ITR LCAs and any 94-01 Integra using ITR LCAs). Bolts right on the 88 Civic/CRX and 97-01 ITR.

They bolt directly up to an 88 CRX/Civic or 97-01 Type R. To work on any other Civic/Integra, you need the 88 Civic/CRX or 97-01 ITR Lower Control arms.

These control arms are lighter, stronger and help correct some of the negative camber you get when you lower the car. It is a 5 minute job to change them once you have the shock/spring out. They retail for about $50 at the dealer, or $10 from the local junkyard.

No, no **** on the top. You twist the shock body to adjust. This is why they are called "internally" adjustable, as opposed to the externally adjustable model that has the **** on the top.

These can be sent back to Koni and made externally adjustable if you want.

 

you twist the shock body? does that adjust compression or rebound? i thought all koni yellows had the **** on top for rebound.

 

Not all Koni Sports have the little **** unfortunately. It adjusts the rebound, like all single adjustable shocks made. This is the only way Koni sells this particular shock for some reason.

They can be sent to koni to have them converted however you like (shortened, revalved, made externally adjustable, etc).

Dont you have to dismount those type to adjust for stiffness?

 

You have to compress the shaft and turn. So, dismounting is one of the ways to do it.

Up until a few months ago, this is all Koni made for this application. Now they make an externally adjustable model that sells for $130/shock. Much more expensive than my $75/shock price.

Still, these are cheaper then the non-adjustable Bilsteins and about the same price as the Tokico Blues. And, IMO the Konis are much better than either, and you can still adjust them--it's just not as easy to do as the externally adjustable models.
