GS-R or H22
Hey guy's whats up well I just got a 95 Civic Si HB and I want to do a swap. But I can't decide where to go GS-R or H22. For people that have H22's how are they for daliy divers and how hard was the install. I'm new to this so any info will be helpful thanks everyone.

I can already tell that you didn't use the handy search function located at the top right corner of the screen. Learn to use it and you won't catch nearly as much flak.
Anyhow. An H22 would be ideal, IMO, for an SI hatch because of the hp and tq/weight issue. Installation is, well, more difficult than a standard B-series install, but that's not saying much. You need a special mount kit and you may need to cut a hole somewhere for the tranny lines, but it's nothing any competent person can't handle.

I really enjoy my b18c1 swap, the fact that every part under my hood is stock and can be replaced easily without having to order/warranty parts if the need be is very good.
Oh, my motor is highly rebuilt, i'm looking to take down some h22 civics, i don't think i'll be able to get the cx's but any Si's or coupes are in trouble.

If you need a h22 you are going to need a GREAT suspension.
When I first took my h22 out for a spin on the stock suspension, it literally fell apart it felt so slow.
So far I have spent more in my suspension than I have in my motor.
So to get the h22 up and running well you are going to need to spend a ton on suspension
