Anyone know 88 accord head bolt torque specs?
Incase you can't see the numbers in the pic above, the top row from left to right is: 8, 6, 2, 4, 10. The bottom row from left to right is: 9, 3, 1, 5, 7
It says you should tighten them in 2 steps, but I would go more just to be on the safe side (this is definitely something you want to get right on the first time, lol). I torqued them all to about 15 ft. lbs in the order given, then went in 5 ft. lb increments in that same order until I got to 49 ft. lbs for the final torque. Don't forget about the oil control jet, o-ring, and dowel pin.

Uhhh...if you've never done a head job before, then I would HIGHLY suggest that you just wait until you get a manual. You have to do everything just as it says, or you can ruin the whole job and have to do it over again (which would really suck!). They have them at Autozone for $12, and it tells ya everything you need to know.
