a lot of aftermarket mirrors use long plastic straws and a regualr philips screw to mount them on a car... my qestion is what if one was to break... what should i use to hold the plastic long plastic straw back into place? Basicly what kind of adhesive works best in holding plastic together.. enough to with stand cold and hot weather...

 

There is this glue stuff called "jb weld". Its for plastic, works good. I dont know were to get it, maybee a hardware store.

 

yea i used that before on some other stuff.. its holds up pretty good.. anybody else know of any other kind?

 

plastic welder, it's a 2-part epoxy and comes in a black 2-sided syringe.

have good ventilation though because the stuff REEKS!!!

that plastic welder.. how dose it compare to jb welb? because where i'm gonna use this stuff is gonna be the foundation of my mirrors.. i need be sure its gonna hold the supports so it will stay mounted on haha
