Default Need a good dyno place in Philly or near by...

Hi, I'm trying to find a place that can dyno my LS turbo with 440cc injectors and afc hack. I just moved to Philly and want to know where I can get my car tuned and how much.

Performance Specialties in Pottstown a little bit from philly. . . . $150 an hour
or Modified motorsports. . . but i dont recommend them , are in Harrisburg. . $75 an hour for dyno time , but tuning is more . i forget the price tough. but they wont touch vafc;s so they are outt he question anyway
Or World Motorsports In Reading . . . . $100 an hour for tuning

Hey itr206,
Have you ever heard of this place: http://www.xoticmotorsports.com/ ( I believe it's near king of perssia)
"DYNO: $65/hr
Includes Wideband O2 sensor use
Contact us for setting up a dyno day for your car club or group of friends at reduced rates!
Our customers continue to describe their experience as "what it would be like to own your own dyno", and "the place to dyno in the PA/MD/VA/NJ area". Everyone is treated like a friend, without the "we know it all" attitude. All for a low price! "

Spike, I have a 01 LS integra that needs tunning. If you need yours tune too maybe we can do it together and get a discount (how far are u from Philadelphia).

ya, im not sure if they do but does that make a difference?? All I want is to make my a/f mixture around 12 and maybe gain at least +15HP and torque

Hey itr206, which place is good and know there stuff?
-Performance Specialties in Pottstown a little bit from philly. . . . $150 an hour
-World Motorsports In Reading . . . . $100 an hour for tuning

150 is a bit pricey if I take more than an hr. How many hrs does it take to tune with afc hack? Also do you have a website or number for both places?? Pottstown is acutally not too far, I check yahoo map and it's around 1hr and 10mins. and Readings is about 1hr and 30mins. Thanks for your help... Hey, did you dyno tune your turbo yet?

not really, but if they try to push it like they do their sups and dsms' your honda will pop so they need to knwo when enough is enough.
plus do they know vafc's? this is stuff you need to ask them .no sence in paying thme per hour to learn a new toy for them. . . see what im saying . go to someone who knows.
deff call thme and check it out

Call josh up at http://www.xoticmotorsports.com and talk to him and see what he says. He's pretty honest about his work and for the price its a hell of a deal and he's not that far away.

Hey LS if you want to meet up there that place is like 30min from me. I need to see where my car is at. If you want I can meet you up there and help you with your VAFC. Let me know.

Ya that would be great.. Have you ever heard of that place before?? Wow, 30 mins away (lucky).. I'm more like 1.5 to 2 hrs (depending on traffic) away, hehe. Anyway, they asked me to come in on Feb 1st... If you are not busy, I hope to see you there

Here's what Josh at Xotic motorsports told me from his email:

"Hello! I have tuned tons of turbo cars with AFC, so that should be no
problem. We will use our wideband O2 meter to tune for whatever you are
looking for - pump gas and low boost, race gas and high boost - whatever
you are looking to do with the car. Cost for dyno tuning is still
$65/hr - includes wideband O2 and probably the cheapest price on the
planet. That price includes me helping you tune if needed.

Weekends are best right now, depending on how much you want to do (tune
for pump, race, both, etc), it should take between one and three hours.

Thanks!

Josh"

Seems like a really nice guy and price is really excellent too

Might as well come down do a pull or 2 and see where your at. If Boosted Hybrid can make it up and tune your hondata that would be even better.

yea the place was nice , i wouldnt pay him to tune my car though. i told him that right up front. He tried to front and say he could figure out how to tune hondata ? I was like did you ever do it , ? he said no and i said you sure as **** aint touching my car then. Why should I pay him to learn and I dont trust people working on my car that sdont knwo the car or anything about hondas
he didnt really tune this dudes car, basically me and Nate were doing everything .and he would come back 10 min later and say what did you guys decide on ? He has no clue when it comes to hondas if you ask me .
But its worth it to use him for his prices for the dyno , but youll end up tuning it yourself 9/10.

well, I'm not much of a tuner yet, but I'd at least like to dyno. Maybe we can get some other members up there to help Did you get the group rate? I wonder how it could get much better than 65/hr.

If you guys are running hondata i could come down and do a tuning day for everyone. Your out of luck for tuning the vafc though, i have never touched one. I'd be interested in getting the dyno for a day for a group of cars in my area. That would be pretty fun, tuning like 5 cars in one day.
