GSR 1" master cylinder and brake booster for 00 DX
Will the GSR 1" master cylinder and brake booster fit into a 00 DX with the DX motor? It just seems like a very very tight fit compared to when I did this conversion on my 93 hactch w/GSR motor. Could it be because of the big booster and m/s not sitting right with the DX motor? Please, if anyone can answer with a simple yes or no that would be great as we are working on the car at the moment. Excuse me for my stupidity and for my lack of doing a thorough search.
Also, if it is not possible to fit, would it be okay to use the stock booster and cylinder along w/rear disc brakes instead of drum? TIA.
The gsr booster is bigger than the stock civic one, but it will fit fine. I have one on my dx. You can use your stock mc and booster with rear discs, but the gsr mc and booster will give you better pedal pressure.
