Default is it still worth it?

i bought a 90 si crx about three days ago. it is in prefect shape, especially for a new england car. the only rust on it is on the sunroof panal, smaller then a dime. everything on the car is completly stock, apperntly the previous owner used to use it as a show car. very very clean. i am debating on either starting mods on the car, suspension first then maybe an engine swap (it has about 150k). but for 1k$ in just suspension making this car anything really fun is going to get pretty expensive. what makes you want to spend so much on these cars? don't get me wrong i love the looks and it is fun to drive but for the price of a b18 one can get a decent early Z. that has rwd and much more moddablity.

Maybe not everyone wants a Z or RWD. I wouldn't mind an old Z with a Chevy V8 though.
