My friend wants to sell this car to me for less than $2000. It has a cheap exhaust (which will go the second I get it) and some nasty wheels (also gone in favor of LS wheels) My question is. Should I get it? the engine bay and interior are in tip-top shape. hes had the car for a while and never runs it hard. Oh yeah its a 1992 DX. So whats your opinions?

 

I would jump all over that for that price. Buy it and get a swap.

 

go for it. it's a nice ride, just get rid of the rims and i'm not too crazy about the shaved inner lights, wheres your reverse lights? otherwise it looks good.

2000 bucks is pretty cheap, the iffy parts like the wheels and what not can be swapped out relatively cheaply.

 

I like it minus the wheels and the tail lights, but for less than $2000, you should pick it up. You could fix all of that yourself. Other than the wheels and the tail lights, its a nice car.

 

I have not run a Carfax on it yet, but I figured even if it has some bad history, it looks pretty good. Yeah I have the Ls wheels on my 90 hatch (background in one pic). No rust as far as I can tell. Is there anywhere that these are prone to getting rust, that I should take a good look at? Thanks again.

EDIT:I dont mind the taillights. Im not too into the show aspect of cars but whoever did the body work did a Nice Clean job.

Looks to definatly be worth $2k+

THe only thing that would prevent me from buying something like that is the custom work done to the rear hatch. Looks fuggin ugly IMO.
