Central FL dyno night
I am interested in getting a relatively small group together who are interested in dynoing their cars (hopefully other Type R's). The location would be at Irish Mike's (in Orlando) off of Forsyth Rd (any Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday night after 5pm). They will charge me $425 for 5 hours. This includes a wideband O2. Dan D would operate the dyno and help tune cars if needed. They have a state of the art Clayton dyno. Much better than any DynoJet system out there.
Please either post here if you are interested or PM me. I myself need about an hour and a half of the 5 hours so just tell me how much time you will need beforehand so we can work out who pays what. Any other questions please PM me here on honda-tech. I will be happy to answer questions. This is open to all Honda's/Acura's and other cars should you wish to bring them. If you don't have anything nice to say in this post please keep your comments to yourself.
I will add more info if i forgot anything or if i learn anything new

I might go.. I'd rather use a Dynojet though.. Perhaps Vapor Trail will have another meet sometime soon..
I wonder what the Pilot will lay down?

the real thing that sucks about irish mikes setup IMO... the location of the dyno in the back room, with a good amount of apparent circulatory EGR in that room. I was also under the impression that irish mike's was upping their dyno fee quite extensivly. shrug.

I'll throw a We-Todd / ITR dyno day soon enough. We have our dyno sitting in the parking lot right now just waiting the ******* builder behind us to get the proper permits to dig out "pool"
Should be within a month / month and a half, maybe just before 12 hour of Sebring

D, yes they did up it extensively. i was over there tonight getting everything setup and ready to go when Dan mentioned that they have changed their prices. it used to be $85 an hour and now it is $50 per run or you have to buy 5 hours of time at $85 per hour which ends up to be $425. So yeah they are trying to weed out non-serious people. I think it is a big mistake by Mike himself but oh well to each his own
Also i agree with the location in the back room. Not much for good circulation IMO but it still would be great this time of year because it isn't so hot out.
