static problem, anyone got it?
Don't know if it's the weather or me(hands are pretty dry at this weather) or my type R seats. It's really cold here. Everytime I get out my car and try to close the door or touch the car, I get shock. What should I do?

Every Honda I've driven or ridden in with cloth seats was a static bomb
[edit] I think both feet on the ground before touching the door will do it, I can't remember [/edit]

I get around it doing this.: Before beginning to get out of the car, open the door and touch the outside metal of the door and hold it while you get out of the car. When completely out of the car then you'll be static free. then you can stop contact with the metal of the door and shut the door normally without using your foot to shut the door like I use to do all the time.

There hasn't been a day yet since I've owned the R, that I haven't been shocked every time I get out and touch the door to close it.
